I thought there was a change in the headrests with the LCIs. Does the 550 they tested have the older version?

1,100,000 copies sold every issue. What Motor Trend thinks does matter. People read and seek opinions of others to help them make decisions. This is well known -Thus, e60FORUMS. It is not surprising that owners of 550s take issue with anyone who criticizes 550s.
