Hey, I am kinda new to this DIY world, but I am trying here. So I amhaving the same issue, checked the MOST/TCU after buying the fiber optic MOST Loop and nothing. It still shows me the red light which I guess from reading this thread means it is working. I see that the solutionis replaced the so called "MULF2", where is that located? I have a 528I 20104 dr.

No it's a goner. Buy the same one on eBay or from a junk yard. It doesn't have to be coded to work but has to be coded if you want the VIN to match. I would suggest relocating it and plugging up the leak also. Some sit the module up higher some completely relocate it it's up to you have you do it
Make sure you match the numbers on the tag before purchasing.

All that I have found so far have all the same numbers in the back of the MULF@
I have found 3 already and all have different numbers in the side and they've belonged to BMW's of my model i believe. They all seem to start with "84.10"

Under the wording "BMW MULF2" the part number is listed that has to match. Highlighted below.
What you are looking for is 84.10 - 9027360

The music is working perfect! just had to switched the MULF2. Did not need the fiber Loop. However, I would like to add that the I could not find the exact MULF2 part number. Therefore, before buying another part I simply tried first and...IT WORKED I got one that started with 84.10 - and a different numbers after and it worked fine. The USB and AUX in my arm rest is working fine. My Bluetooth is working again and the SOS is gone. Thank you so much for your help brother.
