Here are 2 images I found, both clearly show the paddle shifters and the sport automatic stick

Do you think the interior of the 2nd shot is 'natural brown' it looks much too dark to be cream beige (even taking potential lousy image colour balance into account?
Can anyone who has seen this leather colour in a 7 series comment?

Looking at the revised A/C controls it looks like the direct switch function for residual heat has vanished. Maybe this is now accessible via the i-drive but it was handly where it was and I certainly find it useful in the winter when stopped for a while.
Does anyone know if this "advanced" A/C set up is now standard for the UK and Europe as it is already in the US? Always thought the standard system was a bit cheapo for a car of this class against the competition.

I may be wrong without seeing the refresh in the flesh, but the interior design seems much busier, particularly the door panel work. Of course, the new auto shifter is a diseaster area, as others have pointed out. I still rather prefer the clean lines, symmetry, and functional simplicity of the improved 2007 cockpit.

Aesthetically, where the door handle meets that arm rest seems very weird looking. I design simply does not flow like the current version. Is it me or do you guys notice it.

Kind of overly fussy and confused.

You grab the hole in the door armrest, just like in the 3 Series.
It works well
It works well
As in the PDF skyetripper sent us - on page 20:
"Door grab handle / switch pack in armrest" and "Interior trim insert".
More space for the window buttoms.
I like it!
