anyone?
At first, welcome to the boards!
Then second, sorry to hear your problem.

So your battery was discharged. How did that happen? Have you had any problems with it earlier?
If yes, maybe the battery is gone, and recharging it to its full power can't be done anymore.
Bad battery "cuts" some electric devices off and can make some mysterious malfunction messages. Maybe you should try with a new battery . Just a thought...

Thanks for the help. It discharged, because it was -20c temperature outside. The battery is original, and the light in it seems to be green. Engine stars normally. Another problem is that i can`t put any CD compacts.

A battery in its normal (good) shape does not discharge in -20C. We have that kind of weather very often and car batteries take it well. So I still believe in bad battery option. I had a bad battery, and still the car started just fine.

What do you mean by can't put any CD compacts?

Sure this CD and iDrive screen problem can be related and some module has broken. But try another battery at first !

I'm having the same problem with the monitor. It sucks that it doesn't work because the idrive controls the radio/temp...The battery never gave me problems before, I didn't drain it, and it starts just fine.

If anyone could help with more ideas that'd be great. Otherwise I'll get the dealer to look into it for the passenger seat recall.
