As far as the module in the trunk goes, mine got soaked from a leaking jug of antifreeze and corrosion took its toll bit wiring looks ok as it was soaking for about 2-3 days. Brand new jug and it leaked. Who seen that one coming?
I ordered a different one from another car getting parted out. Doesn’t need to be registered to the car or is it a plug and play deal?
I am sure you know what module I am talking about as there is only one down there on my car (micro power module is what they call it I believe for the radio)
