I had a modified CDV installed on Monday. Well today my wife and a friend of ours drove up the I5 from Los Angeles to San Jose. She commented on how much smoother the shifts were as I passed slower traffic over 100mph. When I told her I had had the clutch modified so that it was normal, she insisted on driving. So I gave her the wheel on the 152. A beautiful winding road which links the 5 to the 101 south of San Jose.

Well the problem is that she had a blast. Blowing through the stretch she said that the only reason she had stayed away from my car was because she used to have trouble shifting it smoothly. That's gone now. Oh Oh!

My friend, you have just made a HUGE mistake.

(And I don't mean the CDV, I mean the wife-thing)

Shes a good girl. I prefer that she appreciates my ride, than not understanding it. She had always driven a manual until we had our 3rd child and had to buy a minivan. She loves rowing her own. Why not share the wealth? She barely gets to drive it anyway.

My wife allready complained that since we have the E60 she doesn't get much driving time. Wherever she wants to go I give her a ride and don't let her drive herself anymore...

My old lady says a car is car. That's why she only gets the keys to the civic!
