They gave me a '09 328i (4-door) and I'm not to happy with it... It's slow to respond, and the sterring wheel is hard to turn, plus the brakes are "touchy"... It's not costing me anything, so I shouldn't complain... but ...

Same recall here - BMW Bloomfield, NJ fixed in one day. I feel you pain! I had 2009 328i xdrive - awful! Regular seats are so uncomfortable. It had the new iDrive and navigation - at least I got to play with it. Good luck on your repairs!

No more Ford Focus!
Just got the 550i back after 8 days...it was worth the wait, as I got a complete "ISIS" software upgrade, replacing the ancient original 2006 I-Drive software. It is much more legible and quicker to respond.
Also got a new sunroof seal. And, oh yeah, the passenger airbag will work now too.

Can the 06 owners get a pic of the idrive menu after the update? What is the INPA? Did you pay for the update? Sorry for all the questions.....

Just had the passenger airbag recall fixed. Gave me an '08 328i. Ladies and gentlemen, this was a Honda Civic with a BMW badge. This car had more roll than Limp Bizkit. It was horrible. Are the 5's the only car that drives like its on rails?
