No worries - I've driven some real shitboxes in my day. My first car was a bicycle. Every time I drive the 550 I can't believe I'm sitting in a car that nice. Everyone should have to drive a Focus once in a while - keeps it all in perspective on how lucky we are.

They were able to get mine fixed in a day, maybe it was two. However, be glad you got a BMW loaner, we got stuck with a bare to the bone model Nissan Sentra. The time before that, a bare model Corolla. And a Mazda 3 another time.

Im taking mine in tomorrow morning for the recall. At first they said I could rent a car for $35/day. I bitched a little and they said they would give me a free loaner (BMW).
I will report asap.

WTF!!! I would guess that BMW stealerships would at least give you a Bimmer for a loaner.... You know, I'm really feeling like an ass complaining about the 328i.... I'll know better in the future not to complain..

The way it works, at least at Weber in Fresno is each SA (I think there are 5) is alotted a certain number of cars, in this case 6, and its first come, first serve. And they dont have every car back at the end of each day. They get a lot of people that need their cars worked on. But either way, I dont blame them. I dont drive the loaner much anyways.
