Misfiring and brakes fade. Please help!

My Ista is working. Can I program it with that? I seen cloning services on eBay.
my dme is not repairable.

No ISTA can't be used for cloning. There are special programs like HexProg to clone the DME. Did you use a hot air gun or an iron?

I cut the legs and used an iron. I have a heat station, just didn’t want to warp the board. I’ve had a problem with #3 misfiring for a while, on and off. I’m wondering if the pad was detaching for a while and I finished it. Im usually pretty good with this stuff and really disappointed it came out this way. Whatever. It happens.
I saw all of the equipment necessary to clone it. Im probably going to send it out on Monday. Some guys from a bmw forum say just code it and add vehicle order. I haven’t seen a video on that. Ever heard of it?

Lol. I guess they have never had to do it before. The ISN, EEPROM, and P-flash is the most important thing that can not be coded. You will not even be able to start the car if the DME is not cloned unless you purchase a DME along with CAS and keys and ignition. Even then the EGS/TCU would need to be paired. Trust me you need to get it cloned. Maybe they know something I don't.

update. First dme shit. Got an msd81 and the dude Evan from YouTube is programming it. He said there’s something wrong with my injector coding. First he said to double it, the. Said not to touch it until I read it again. It will be back Monday or Tuesday. What’s your opinion?

I don't known who coded those but it is way off on the flow and highly unlikely the energy value is the same for 5 injectors. Your flow should be 2.xx (xx should be a number more than likely between 00-45. I don't know how they got the number values incorrect because they are written on the injector. Each injector has its own 6 digit number. The first 3 you code as xx.x the second set as x.xx if you're doing it in INPA. I would say pull each injector and get the 6 digit number of each cylinder and code it correctly and that's it.

You may get away with using a small mirror to read the values to avoid pulling them.

I coded them from what was on the injectors. 5 start with 571. The 6th is 583 I believe.

here’s an extra injector I have. I used the numbers circled on the injectors in the car to code. I’m using a foxwell bmw specific scan tool to code.
