I really like the light under the mirror and so far I think the only aftermarket mirror that has the light is ACS. Kinda pricey though, so you may want to wait for the M5 mirrors.

If you don't care about the light that much, then you can try and fit some M3 mirrors or ACS mirrors without the light.

I really think that sport mirrors give a more aggressive look to the car, but am not willing to spend the money on them at this time.

^^ Ouch! haha...

I'd say ACS....

Mirrors are a very underrated mod.. makes a huge difference IMO....

they're like $521 USD retail a-piece w/o paint.....

I'm not so sure that they'd fit. .unless you somehow modified the base.. i mean.. the M3 mirrors weren't interchangeable w/o a new base between the E46 sedans and coupes... so i would think the same would hold true across platforms.....

i guess your best bet woud be A.) wait for an aftermarket company to pick up on your idea and implement it or B.) wait for the ///M5 mirros, or C.) .. go custom... lolz...

put up pix if you go through with modifying the base or what not....

original M5 mirrors will be very expensive so i think thats out of the question. possibly exact replicas then.

Heezy545i,
I wud appreciate if you cud clarify about ACS mirrors:
Do you mean that it is possible to get ACS mirror with and without light? Are you sure about it? So far I have seen them only w/o lights.

I read in one interview from BMW //M people that the new m5 mirros have specifically been made not to work in other E60's. They will fit, but the computer will not make them work, and will keep giving you a warning on them
