minimum oil level

yea it is weird, i dunno what is happening,i checked all caps and all were closed tightly. So i dunno if there are any leaks under the engine. As for sensor malfunction, the sensor is fine, i checked the engine level it is exactly at min level.

hey guys, small qurestion. How much do u guys pay for Mobil 1 0W-40 coz i think i just got ripped off, i just payed 14$ for 1Qt, or 1L
The gas station manager told me since everything is closed on sunday, it costs more. what the .... Is he for real, he was like take it or leave it. And i was forced to pay it.

After i paid, i told him you just cost urself a shit load of customers, im telling everyone about you.

Of course, that's rip-off. But again if you couldn't wait til Monday, then thats the price you have to pay, I guess.

I wouldn't go back there, if I were you.

How do you know how much oil to add? Do you have a way to measure the oil level with a dipstick?

if your car is telling you that you need oil its at least a quart. Go into idrive.

In my pre-LCI, there;s a dipstick that tells you how much to add.
Eventhough without the dipstick, my idrive gave me a warning to add 1L.

As for LCI, you can check ur oil level on the idrive. There you'll know how much to add

The dipstick has an indentation to measure the level. The bottom of the range is minimum level and the top is ....guess what....the top.

I had a similar experience after a recent oil change, but I was on a road trip in a rural town with nothing in sight. I was like WTF!!!

And of course this was after I'd stopped seeing a need to keep a quart of oil in the trunk.
