I think any Micro SD card should work as there are only 3 companies making this type of card.

OK- update, I've now got a Transcend Micro sd card,size 8g, formatted FAT32, fitted into a card adapter, working so far, dont know why this works and transcend memory stick didnt. I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead methinks..

Here is another solution that may works as I have this issues with another branded card and fix it.
To enable NTFS and FAT32 on your USB Flash Memory
Right click My Computer and select Manage.
Open the Device Manager and find your USB drive under the Disk Drives heading.
Right click the drive and select Properties.
Choose Policies tab and select the "Optimize for performance" option.
Click OK.
Open My Computer.
Select Format on the flash drive.
Choose NTFS or FAT32 in the File System dropdown box.
Device Formatting is completed.
If you card is one of the fake one it is not going to support FAT32
