Really? As if that ever worked with a BMW or any other luxury car. Tell them you know what they go for at the auction and they laugh and tell you to go try to buy it then. Now if you're SELLING that's sort of a different story. Well sort of.....because unless you're selling to a dealer then it's useless as well. Anyway to each his own. You can believe what you want to believe and I know what I know. Economics is second nature to me. Dealers and consumers are different grades of meat my friend.

From my personal experience, car dealers are very protective of the auction pricing since it makes the consumer more educated. I am not surprised that you are opposing this information from being public.
If economics is second nature to you, you should work on Wall Street.
