Yup, i know the problem...
Got a big dent this week above my left rear door, while it was parked in a city center... (Not next to the curb or anything, just a normal parking spot)

That's no parking dent...

And if you find the perp, i'll be happy to fly out to you to beat the crap out of that sorry MF... I just can't stand those people...

I would think the full extent of the law is not much in this case, GT. If it were me, I might take matters into my own hands if possible. Never got the class envy thing, when I see a nice car or nice house, I like looking, it doesn't make me envious or want to do damage. Unfortunately, I think this attitude will get worse in the next few years as those in charge in Washington villify the auto industry, the banks, the health insurers, the mobs against health car, the white cops in Cambridge. Creates a lot of jealousy.

I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.

Hey, Richard. I was actually parked at work. And it's not like it was a Walmart lot. I work in "corporate America" and would think others would be more civilized than that.
