Ice - I thought the 5 series did well with the side impact? NHSTA crash test here in the USA.? Although I can find no data on their website. Does anyone know the methodology of the EuroNCAP Test?

You can look at their Website to compare.

The problem is, that's all just unconfirmed rumours...

Thanks CRRobert. That's a great website. I guess if the 5er failed the pedestrian test it wouldn't matter to much.

What?s up.
I?v heard from different sources that some modifications will be in the production of E60 early next year.
Rumour or not.
Please check this link with an interview with Mr Bruhnke (BMW M Manager / President )

All I know is that I went to order an M5 here in Belgium about Sept 2004, and the dealer told me what there was going to be a delay due to some software glitch. Basically, he stated "if you are in P400 doing 210 Km/h and you hit the M button for P500, the car went crazy. The management system did a Microsoft Windows!!" It is a complexed machine that proabably still needs testing.

Thats not major...

Major was like redesign of the alumium body frame or somthing that improves something...

The brake functions are alright but not major enough to me. I mean if I got them cool if not Im not concerned too much. like 4.8L engine from 4.4 would concern me...
