m5 coversion buld new paint job lots of pics and questions
By doing the work myself (this is not the first car im converting) around 30-35.000$
Cars aint cheap in Norway
A standard 550i cant be bought here because the dealers dont import them because the import taxes are too high. If you want one, you have to import it yourself.
For comparison, if you know what a new F10 530i costs in the us, with a little extras on it, is 200.000$ here.
EDIT:
I see you cant buy the 530i in the US, the next petrol version is 535i.
So I built two new ones using their online vehicle configurator. The Norwegian one was 203,415$ (Two Hundred And Three Thousand Four Hundred And Fifteen Dollars)
The US one was 72,150$.
Just to put things in perspective.

update!
UPDATE:
roof, side mirrors, window trims are painted gloss black and the rest of the car is alpine white.

this is a oem m5 rear bumper it looks kinda off because its resting on the stock tips but fitment is perfect of the lower trunk part to the bumpe when the stock exhaust is off

so far everything is going as planed. gap lines is from a brand new oem vis csl style trunk... for a carbon trunk that is almost $1k would think fitment would be at lease line up better but that just my eyes as I notice every little flaw. I'm petty sure no one will notice unless bring it up.
let me know what you guys think.
thanks!

Expecting aftermarket CF parts to fit like OEM is a bit too much to ask, no matter what the price. The trunk looks good, enjoy it, and don't worry too much about "perfect fitment" it wasn't going to happen with a CF trunk anyway.
