my best friend is Brazilian and the other day we were talking about his new car a 2011 Volkswagen toureg and he told me in Brazil it goes for more than US$ 250,000 , is that true?

Not sure about Brazil but in my home country, Vietnam, you usually have to multiply the cost of the vehicle by 3 or 4 times to determine how much it will cost. But then again those who can afford the high end cars dont really care much about the price.

Up till now I still don't understand why would anyone wants to buy an expensive car in Vietnam. The street is too damn crowded with bicyclists so there isn't any room to actually drive.

Hi,

I think that he wanna say in Reais and not in dollar. A 2011 Volkswagen Toureg has the price R$ 270,000 reais, so in dollars will be US$ 168,750.
