Sorry to drag up an old thread, but the time has come to replace my rear tyres (the 255s metioned in the original post) and I'd appreciate some advice. Do I risk getting the 275s or will it rub?

My Ride: F13 M6
recommended sizes of 275/30/19 should not rub. rear offset of your wheels should be ET17, and to compare to the same dimensions of the 166 rear wheel off of an M5 we put a 12mm spacer to bring it to ET16 with no rubbing.
