Hey, great car you have there
...You lucky guys living in mother-land

Nick

Thanks for the

The dealer I purchased it from had an E60 M-Sport with the M6 rims. I've watched your car develop in the posts you've place here in the forum, so was half expecting to see almost the same car, however when I saw his car I was surprised how different it looked. Don't get me wrong, his car looked great, but I have to say the extra mods you've done on yours make a big difference in the factor.

Always interesting to see how a couple of subtle mods (in my case full chrome grill and 19s) can make such a big difference to the overall look of the car.

cheers

hello xBMWx,

i just had the same idea when summer started.
putting off the m135 18" and upgrading to the m166 m5 look 19" wheels.
i had rft before, now back to genuine tires and will never ever go back to rfts'.

as i did like the m5 mirror look as well i installed them

hm, then i thought what a nice car but power does not fit to the looks and upgraded the software.
now it has a little more power

finally last week i thought well, the sound could be a little better and had the subwoofers upgraded

think now i'm done, at least my wife thinks i am

all the best

hi stuart,

i picked up the m5 wheelkit and the m5 mirrors at ebay. in sum approx. 2100EUR. there are quite a lot e60 m5 mirrors on sale there in the meantime.

the subwoofer was installed from a local dealer together with a more powerful amp. the amp came from i-sotec and was plug and play. cost was almost 800EUR.

A bad wheel does kills the car's look.

When I go from the 16" to the 18" the difference is like and it puts a grind on my face everytime I see the car.

Nice set of mods. The 166s simply look great on all E60s!

I think the best way of describing your wife's thoughts is probably "wishful thinking"

Cheers
