I have the M-Sport which has the full M-teck kit and associted exteroir/interior goodies, the ///M is branded on the door sills, steering wheel, wheels etc but i would never dream of putting the ///M badge on the exterior. You have to ask yourself why do you want to put the badge on.....the only reason i can think of is so peole will falsely think it is an M car......but it's not......don't be that guy
+1, especially when u have to answer "no this is not an M5", but a 520i (no offense to the owners of of 520i, it's still a great car) ; people will laugh at you

I found this on the forum... I kinna like it. Paying homage to the M Team.
a night shot here ...no, I will not remove the Msport badge (it is not an M5 badge) because I think looks good.
ohh and yes, this is a 520i (with some extras)

+ surprisely, many members and much more non members BMW enthusiasts, here in Greece and during our E60 forum meetings in Germany have seen the car, but none laughed about the Msport badge so far

It's very lame. I bought a second hand car and it had the badge, the moment I got the car I went straight home (didn't even put gas) and removed it straight away. M is for M-cars and that's that, but as others have stated - to each his own.

I think it looks pretty sweet too.. I am also pretty surprised so many people think it would be posing. If you think about it rationally, we have complete M kits.. so putting the M badge would be natural.

De-badge would be better i think.......doesn't bother me if it has an 'M' badge tbh, each to their own.

Here we go with this topic again...
Nick if people only knew the extent of mods that 520 had....hands down one of the best - if not the best - modded 5series on this forum. We were talking about you and your "stickers" in the mid-west meet today. One day we will all make it over to those European meets!!

I would agree with the few posts regarding de-badging...let those who are not familiar wonder and those that can tell admire your mods. Be proud of what you drive and drive it well!!
