Soon I will be getting my car back with the fully installed M Tec kit and was wondering should I be pasting on the M badge?? I though it would be cool considering I have the M Tec kit but some members though otherwise.
Need a consensus on this issue.. so whats the verdict?

If you like it and want to put it on, go for it! It's not like you are putting an M5 badge on a 'vanilla' 520i~ 
And for those of you with a 520i, nothing wrong with the car, no offense intended!

IMO. poser with the m-badge, don't do it...but as always stated: your preference is the deciding factor/vote...

I think it should be reserved for true M Cars (m3 m5 m6 etc...) eventhough you have an m kit. Its a fine line but hey if you like it then do it.

I thinks its cool as long as your not saying you have an M5, the M badge I think is okay, maybe swap it out from where it says 530, but dont put M5... just my thoughts.

Here in NZ the factory sells many M-Sport cars, in the fact the prices lists have say a 530, then a 530 M-Sport, which is supplied with just the M badge on the back (3's and 5's) they have the appropriate OEM M-Kit, wheels, interior etc this directly matchs the Audi S-Line - same deal. They look great and are really popular.
I think its OK, PLEASE NOTE, I think it is unforgivable to put an M5 or M3 badge on a lessor model however.

My Ride: Week 17 Build, 2008 E60 535d M Sport - Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Visibility Package, Media Package, Automatic gearbox, Steering Wheel Heating, M Double Spoke 172 19" Mixed Wheels, Auto-Dim+Exterior Mirror, Comfort seats, Front Seat Heating, Aluminium Pentan interior trim,DAB Tuner, TV Function, BMW Individual Audio System 825W !!
In the UK we have factory OEM M-Sport models, which is great. They have basically the same panels as what you get with the 'M-Tech kit' in the US.
The only 'M' inscriptions they put on, are on the wheels, the steering wheel, and the door sills. Just hints of what the car is aspiring to, and in my opinion, that is enough. 'M' badges on the trunk etc, is just too much. :thumbsdown:
