Where you find that badge sold? How much?
Just stick it on the left side of the trunk and keep the 530i .

i think you're making the right choice (debadging).
personally i believe the ///M badging to be exclusive to M cars.
but like the consensus, it's personal choice, and that choice is YOURS.

M badge is for M class cars. M1,M3,M5,M6
If I get the mirrors ofan M5 on the car and think that that entitles me to an M Badge then I would think of myself as a prat.
I'ld sooner get the flying B on the bonnet and then stick a Bentley badge on the rear.
I see cars with amazin bodykit and I think it looks very cool but then the M badges on side and rear just says "trying too hard".
Silence is the new shouting.
Keeping a clean rear end works for your cars health, as well as your own.

I have the M-Sport which has the full M-teck kit and associted exteroir/interior goodies, the ///M is branded on the door sills, steering wheel, wheels etc but i would never dream of putting the ///M badge on the exterior. You have to ask yourself why do you want to put the badge on.....the only reason i can think of is so peole will falsely think it is an M car......but it's not......don't be that guy

The option is up to you, if you like the look go for it! If you must why not just leave the 530i badge and add an M in front of it.. like in this pic..
