how about a black n white ///M badge as my car is silver.... see attachment.

This one matches very well with Carbon Fiber BMW badges, on a silver gray car If you like CF, then try it, why not?

I drive a 520d which I am delighted with and see no merit in de-badging. However I have often thoutht that if I ever owned a more powerful e60 (eg 535i) I would consider de badging to avoid unwanted attention from greasy fingered car thieves. The 520i is identical to 535i cosmetically but a lot less attractive to a thief would would most likely expect a de bagded car to be a lowly powered model with ideas above it's station. Just a thought, would anyone consider down-badging for this reason?

I drive a 535d debadged and I seem to suffer a bit more from others who assume it's a 520 and fancy their chances in the highway Grand Prix. Sometimes it's hard to resist and I rise to the bait! I have considered getting a 520 (or even a 518) badge after I get my remap, just to see the puzzled look on their face after I let them catch up

As for thieves, I think it doesn't matter what it is, if it has a 'D' on the back they're not interested.

Glad to know. One more reason to leave the badge on, then.

550d? M5d? Could be cheaper than a Tracker!

I don't like bashing people and hurt their feeling That's not called either friend or E60 family, but that's called "STUPID"

Anyway, all I wants from all E60 member is that providing support and encourgement if one wants to do something for his car, but, please, never bashing. This board an excellent reputation for courteous and gentle, so please keep it that way, and avoid leading this board becoming a second "Roadfly"
bashing people and hurt their feeling, stupid well not realy it call 10 year old with no brains.
we are not bush so we will never stop people bashing people and hurt their feeling.

Not sure the badge adds anything to an already great looking car but I might be wrong

A view from Europe.

I ordered my 535d MSport de-badged for two reasons:

1. I don't want people having a go because they just want to see if they can beat the car.
2. I don't want to make it such a target for thieves or keyers.

I am just happy to enjoy the car knowing what it is without telling everyone else
