Default M-ask Unit Coding

Hey guys whats up so as you know I got my idrive working, for those who dont know what Im talking about my idrive went black a couple of weeks ago and these fellow members helped me with the break down of all the possibilities, narrowing it down to the final one, M-ask replacement. So this is where I stand now fellas, I installed it this weekend basically plug n play, as I turn the car on, the first window reads "Error unit not coded correctly" after that its just goes to my regular home screen, radio, cds. bluetooth and apparently aux now to, all work as they should except aux because its not coded, I press on it and it reads "looking for external source", I would imagine that becuase I do not have an aux cable thats connected to it. I went to an indy shop this morning and tried to have it coded, mostly for that error screen it gives me when turing on the car, no so much for the aux because i do not have an aux cable at the moment anyways. The guy does have the scanner/coder for these cars I saw what he was working with, however he was not able to do it. This is what the scanner read about the M-ask unit
M-ask
1. Navigation
2. Gateway
and I dont remember the last one, but it was mostly just info on the m-ask itself, number, date of manufacturer it was also reading the previous vin from where this m-ask unit used to be which was in a 2007 550i, mines a 2005 530i. So anyone out here with some info what it is I need to look for in that coder please let me know, thanks.

Tell your guy to use NCSExpert and flash the CCC/MASK with an empty .man file. They will reset all the settings to the default ones for the MASK unit.

I bet his guy doesn't know what that is. Just buy some tools to do yourself. No one should own a BMW without the full capability to diagnose, repair and program the car. Contact Nic at euautohaus and he'll set you up I'm sure.
