I had to replace my water pump nearly a year ago. It made a clanking/rattling sound, and got louder when I sped/revved up.
I couldn't listen to your youtube vid (said it was private). However, upon inspection of my old water pump, the bearings were bad and would not rotate freely like it was supposed to. The new one I installed spun smoothly and quietly. I'd take the proactive approach and change out your water pump since you described it as being "a bit rough" and "didn't spin freely." Good luck

Thanks for the reply E6T. Didn't know the clip was private. I'm very new when it comes to loading video onto youtube. Just learned how couple days ago just for this noise issue.
Does anyone know how I can change the setting to not private. I just assume as long as I can watch it, everyone else can.

I think it should work now. Didn't know it was set to private. Please give me your opinion on whether or not this is a sign of a bad water pump.
Thank you for your time.

i would say that your water pump needs replacement. it sounds pretty rough and loud....whereas a new one is quiet and smooth. the pump has sealed bearings in it that should be smooth running. as soon as the seals let go, the bearings get toast pretty quick and eventually starts spewing coolant out.
this thread has some info on replacing your pump.

Good job on the youtube clip. I can honestly say it is a WATER PUMP FAIL!! It shouldn't be rattling like that, let alone any noise. Try getting a mechanics stethoscope and place it on the water pump when running. This way you'll be able to tell for sure.

Lifted the car up with the floor jack and yes, it is resting a set of jack stand along with the floor jack. Gonna tackle this water pump this afternoon and this weekend. Any advice for a beginner DIY wannabe like myself is sincerely appreciated.
So far I've removed the bottom plastic cover, serpentine belt, and radiator cover.
Thank you in advance for any input.
