Asked the dealer not to lose my Nav address book - with lots of carefully gathered locations.

Sadly the most basic facility to save this to disk does not seem to exist - or they didn't know how to do this. (Surely the most elementary requriement for any software setup is a facility to save settings, BMW !!!)

It looked like the Nav Book had been preserved. But the locations are in fact way out. I think the mechanic sat and wrote down the locations from the screen rather than downloaded the Lat / Long coordinates. As many places dont have street names and numbers this would be hopeless waste of effort.

Any brilliant ideas how to resolve this? Cannot easily edit locations, so looks like I need to delete them all and re-enter location and name one by one. A huge task
