Hey Steve,
Glad the HID kit has helped - it certainly transforms the look of your car (I'm very jealous).
If only i knew so i could have heard your car. Did you get the mids as well? If so, didn't you need to add an amp?
I may take you up on the offer to help but first I'll need to source the speakers.

Yes I did, I bought them from Bruce who has coincidentally just posted! I can confirm he is a top guy and helped a great deal with advice on fitting.
Steve.

For now I have only added L7 tweeters at the front to my pre-LCI. No issues with fitting, they plug straight in. The sound is a lot better than without the tweeters so it is worth the investment (I picked up a pair from ebay.de for £30 delivered from Germany). I would agree that the sound is a little unbalanced for rear passengers so I will be adding L7 tweeters to the rear shelf at some point.

3 questions about L7 (or suitable tweeters):
1) Do they just fit straight into the space in the front doors (near the mirrors)?
2) Where do you mount them in the shelf? Is there a suitable place for them?
3) Wiring - is it a mere soldering job (or scotch locks)on the connections to the existing speakers/splicing into the existing wires?
I've seen some Apline speakers that people say are good too - on eBay for £not a lot!
