Just read the letter. It in its entirety is shady. They obtained a mailing list from X. Why is Y buying a mailing list from X? Why does X have a mailing list with your info on it? How are they going to PROVE anything. I mean they have a tech that will testify? I don't think that's going to cut it. However, it will scare the dealer into a negotiation unless they're 100% confident that they never did anything like the above. Which EVERY $tealership has. lol. Ambulance chasers!

 

I called BULL SHIT on one of the repairs my local dealership did on my CPO E65. Now I am on first name basis with the service director there. Every of my service ticket since then has a RED TAG that requires a mandatory inspection by the shop foreman. It was no skin off my back but I just could not let some slimy stealer get away with charging BMW NA for something they did not do. And let me tell you, it wasn't a small bill.
