haha. that was pretty stupid
Actually, if your car spends excessive amount of time at the dealer, that is a problem. We're not driving Range Rovers here...

that may be true. my history consists of:

86 Firebird: blown 2nd gear and engine
89 Trans am: blown rear
86 318: broken motormounts
82 325: warped head
93 mustang: broken crankshaft, blown 3rd gear (on a racing tranny)
85 audi quattro TT: blown engine

countless sets of tires. no shit, probably like 20+ pairs of back tires

there is more, i have had more cars and all had general mx issues, the ones i listed were undoubtedly from abuse.

i am a little nicer to the bimmer though.
I was just joking, but it turned out to be true

I'm too good. Next

None of your previous cars ended in good condition. V might be right about you..."Craig is a terrible driver. He MURDERS cars."

Judging by your prior history, I would wager that you are the reason for horrible vehicle deaths. hehe.

i absolutely abused my past cars... that was a long time ago though. my 99 maxima had 140K or so on it when i traded it in for the bimmer, which i dont really abuse. i drive it hard, but not destructively

Guys, don't waste your time - Craig is a terrible driver. He MURDERS cars. This car would've had 0 issues in anyone else's hands

Craig...the serial killer of cars.

Seriously, Craig's list of problems for a pretty new E60 is big. I hope that in the first 15K before you got it, your car was not abused too badly but it may have been.

Since March, the only real annoyance I have had with my 550 is creaking window seals and a creaking passenger seat (when not occupied -- I had this problem on my 2003 E39 540i Sport as well). My 550 has gulped two quarts of oil since I got it but that is totally understandable given our meets and my general driving habits on weekends (twisties in M2 or M3 for long periods of time).

Once a killer, always a killer. Its just a matter of when you'll kill again...

haha....

anyway, I made an appointment today to drop the car off on thursday, they asked me what was wrong with the car. i listed everything. when i was done the service manager goes "um... anything else?"

i am gonna get stuck with some POS 328 again and i will be miserable, but they will get my car fixed hopefully. in september i will put new wheels on it and springs and finally get my scratch fixed (which seems much smaller then when it happened). at the same time i am gonna do the ACS spoiler, yellow fogs, new AEs and a JB3 and K&N. by october first my car will be a completely new car.
