Been getting random engine malfunction reduced power codes being thrown every other day and figured it probably is the HPFP. Ran the code with a CAN Tool and got the code 29F3.
I looked up what 29F3 is and it says, "Fuel Pressure Sensor" I think? Anyone have any idea what this code is?

From the Bentley manual, code 29F3 can be combined with P-code P2541 or P2542, giving either "Low Pressure Fuel System Sensor Circuit Low" or "Low Pressure Fuel System Sensor Circuit High".
It sounds like this is an issue with the fuel injection system. The low pressure sensor itself is BMW part #13537614317. I would suggest starting with confirming that the sensor is operational. If the sensor is ok, it may be an issue with the high pressure fuel pump.
Good luck.

+1 as stated above. I had a similar thing. It started out of no where and was stumbling pretty bad, turned car off and it would clear. It would come back, but totally random for a period of about three days. CEL came on and there were several codes. One said fuel pump plausible, but I still had the JB4 in mapp 1 so it wasn't getting a reading. Took to dealer and they called and said it was the low pressure sensor. Cost of repair was $400.00 and part was around 100.00.

Unfortunately, it is under the intake manifold. A real PITA to get to. I'm taking my engine apart now trying to get to the little bastard. Hopefully there is an easier way than removing the intake.

Sorry missed the posts. Thats correct, under the intake. I hear if you are really good you can squeeze by and not have to pull the intake... But I am thinking that you would. I recall like three hours labor on the bill.
