Default License plate led stubborn connector

I'm finding it impossible to replace my old license plate led with a new one. The connector clip won't release the light. I don't see anything I could press to release and I can't just pull it out or It'll break. Does anybody have a solution for this. The led replacement video doesn't help me cause he blacks out right when he is a lout to take the clip off and say just be patient. I've been out here for an hour.

Does anybody know what's going on?

here is a video of what I'm talking about...

pic of the clip as well

I am pretty sure one just holds the connector along the wide sides and wiggle it away from the lamp housing. My lamp housing is slightly different, but the connectors look the same. Here is a picture of my lamp housing for your reference.

In the photo of your lamp housing the connector comes out the end. In the video it comes out the back. I cannot hear a word of what he says in the video, but it looks like he is pointing to some part with his thumb nail. Maybe it is a release for the connector. Not sure why the two lamp assemblies look different.

'cuz the OP mentioned it in the clip that it's an aftermarket LED light (also the on the OEM you can see the bulb from the backside) which probably why the connector slightly different.
