Thumbs up

I friend of mine noticed that the front left turn signal on the fender was full of moist and water. And the car is only three weeks old. Last weekend I was driving in heavy rain for a few hours. I think that is what did it rather than me washing the car.

Anyone else having the same problem?

My left headlamp had lots of condensation on the inside after a particularly damp couple of days, but it cleared up just as quick as it appeared. It's on my list of things to get my dealer to look at when the car next goes in (I build up my list and then book the car in once the list hits 5 or so items - depends what the individual items are. Makes sure as much as possible gets done while the thing is still under warranty).

Hi,

I assume you mean the small turn signal in fender. I had the same fault in my former E60 530iA/04, it took one minute to change it myself. The dealer gave the part for free. The original one was broken and moisture got in.

It?s of course a pity to have problem with a brand new Bimmer, but this problem is very easy and quick to fix.

Good luck with your new ride, I think you have chosen a very good colour

Regards,

Jukka

Are you talking about the fender light or the one in the front end light cluster?

As Jukka, I suppose it's the side blinker but if it is in the light-cluster, mist will go away - but not wather.

Pic of mist.

Not necessarily for only the mist problem.

The light clusters have a ventilation system,
as BMW Service tells us now.

It's the small blinker on the fender. I know that the light clusters with xenons can have condensation and that will clear by itself.

I'll contact the dealer later and will have the blinker fixed.
