Noticed my low beam bulbs flickering yesterday on my 07 530XI after i got the message and now it's been out completely. Anybody knows how to get into the housing and replace the bulb/ballast? I've replaced the Angel Eyes and high beams but I have no clue how to get into the other side.

'07 e60 models had either Xenon Adaptive Headlights or Halogen. The bulb and process is different so it would be necessary to let us know which headlight type your car has. IF you don't know here's a hint - the information is on pps 223-224 of your owner's manual. IF you don't have one download it at the info section of this forum.

 

H7 halogens. The diagram shows a cover that u can turn open like the high beam compartment. However it has a compltely different cover than whats in the diagram on 223 and 224.
