So I was getting left low beam malfunction messages on the Idrive. the driver side light would be out so I could usually knock the top of the headlight a few times and it would come back on. But recently I tried that and it didnt work. So I took it to UnitedBMW since i had to get the battery cable bulkhead connector fixed anyway(recalled)and they informed me that it would be $98 bux for a new bulb(yikes). So i was thinking maybe this would be the ideal time to upgrade to a set of angel eyes, what you guys think?

Based on your sig...if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me...you have LCI Halogen headlights? If so why would you consider getting a new set of halogen bulbs for $98 bucks when u can get an entire HID kit from DDM bulbs and all for $50???
If they happen to be xenon headlights...why not go with TRS bulbs instead ($75 as I remember)? And yes...AE upgrades are always exciting!! I just went with HID AE on my car...almost done with that little project.

looks to me that he has LCI bi-xenons not halogens. $98 that's funny but actually cheap for an OEM bulb i think.

Been running these for over 2 years w/o a problem. I have Pre-LCI but I think it's the same bulb type. If not someone correct me.
