Is this an easy fix? Got a malfunction sensor that went off in my car which is out of service warranty. Its the round "angel eyes" around the light itself. Dont feel like taking it to BMW, but also dont want a project.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the "halo" AKA parking lamp isn't working it's probably just burned out. It's a simple replacement: remove the high beam panel, rotate the parking lamp bulb 30 degrees to remove from socket, replace bulb, replace cover.

Bought one at local auto parts store for under $15. H8 12V 35W (Sylvania). They didnt think they had them in stock until i told them it was a H8 bulb. Took 2 minutes to fix and the instructions are in the BMW manual. I called my dealer and they wanted $28 for same bulb. This is the second one for me - first time it was covered under warranty. SA thought the bumper had to be removed-- LOL
