LEDs in side-view mirrors QUESTION
Wondering if the LED "bulbs" (units) in the side view mirrors can be replaced.
I'm one of the few who, except for HID headlights, does not like the stark white color of LEDs. I love my warm Amber angel eyes and interior lights when I hit the door unlock button! Then there's those blue/white lights shining down on the side of my door...would love to make them match.
If I can't replace them, I may use an Amber film over the lens to change the color.
Thanks!

Just ordered the polymide tape, but still curious if the LEDs could be swapped out...

The LED lights are in a complete unit which sits inside the mirror cover. You can remove it, by first removing the black frame where the mirror sits.
You can check if you can exchange the actual LEDs from the unit housing.
The LED units are 63 31 6 913 277 (left) and 63 31 6 913 278 (right).
