hello,
I have a 2005 530i. My grandpa has a 2008 528i. All I want to do is put his headlights and LED tail lights on my 530i, and vise versa. (he can care less lol). After reading a couple forums, i now know that theres more involved than just switching lights. I would be so greatful if someone would be kind enough to walk me threw this and tell me everything I need. I would like everything to be working normally on both cars in the end, especially no idrive messages. can someone please help....

leave your poor grandpa's car alone.

its not easy. you have to redo the wire harnesses, change out the light control module, and reprogram the car. i'm not even sure if you can put the pre-lci(yours) lights in the lci car(grandpa).

Dude you suck! It's a big job on the headlights, but for the tails I recomend Bruce Miranda V6 wiring harness. No programming needed. PM member bruce_miranda. This is for your car. However, I don't know how that would work putting your lights on your grandfather's car.

You are probably going to cause more problems than it's worth for your grandpa.

What is that Toyota #1 ad for? Must be #1 in recalls.
