I think more work can probably make it look more sleek. For example, (I am assuming the back piece is a mount and reflector can come off) hollow out most of the mount, and build a custom diffuser so light up the whole reflector. And you'd want to use better LEDs, those are below average in regards to luminosity, so that it will light evenly. Wire it inline with your turn signals, it might be pretty cool.
The only thing is, then the side marker also blinking might make it too much.
In any case, very cool for trying something new!
