Leaky Vanos Solenoids
my 550i is at 150k. I do not believe VANOS or VANOS solenoids have been maintenance or had issues, up until now.
Seems my solenoid have development a small l " drip " . Lots of build up around the exhaust solenoid , and seems to be a little wet near bottom swell.
Do I need to change both, intake / exhaust solenoids ?

There is a "O" ring on the solenoid.
You might take the cheap approach first off and just get a new O ring and see what happens.
Take brakeleen and clean that area. Take CRC electrical parts cleaner and spray the connections.

Thanks for replies guys,
How many o-rings does each solenoid have on the n62tu? just One per solenoid?
If so, Best store to buy some replacements ? Ive been looking at " https://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/338...g-11367546379/ "
I need to head over to realoem.com and find the actual part name
This was my first post on the forum, I really appreciate all the feedback !
I'll post more pictures once removed , and cleaned. As well as step by step on how to get to those buggers
I plan on sharing ista + soon all 140gb, as long as it is not against the rules.

There's 2 o-rings for each one. The photos below shows the part numbers for each manufacturer for both. So you need to buy 2 from each pic. I pulled this from pelican parts.
You said you have the N62TU so I looked it up for a 08 550i since you didn't list your year in the post. The parts below fits 06-10 550i

i think i may have same isssue with both the solenoids and the oil line for vanos, im wondering could this cause intermidiate oil pressure light to come on from time to time?

Probably a leaking oil pressure sensor causing the intermittent oil pressure light. A common issue.
