Ok, I probably know the answer to this, but what kind of fluid is leaking if the Transmission Sealing Sleeve is leaking? Engine oil or transmission fluid? If it is transmission fluid, and there is no way to replace it on an '05 545i, then I guess I better get it replaced pretty quick right, or can I simply "top-off" that fluid?

Transmission fluid leaks from the trans sleeve (at the electrical connector to the mechatronics).
Trans fluid can be topped-off by opening the fill plug (making sure the temp is within the range) and pour trans fluid using any generic 'fluid transfer pump' until the fluid starts to come out. Put back the fill plug, done.

I will as soon as I have an extra $700 to replace it. Not sure that is a DIY for me.
