Default leak above Valve Cover Gasket Level - 2005 BMW 545i

As I am getting prepared to replace the right side VC gasket, I noticed gunk/oil traces around the #4 ignition plug area (see picture). These cannot be as a result of leaking gasket, correct? I believe the parts in that areas are the #4 ignition coil, intake Camshaft sensor and the exhaust camshaft sensor (agree?).
maybe the spark plug cavity gasket be leaking (not sure if these cars have one). what else guys? This is my first time doing this, just wanted to make sure I don't make a bigger mess.

If u pull the coil out,, see if the spark plug tube is full of oil residue .. If it is,, then the spark plug tube o ring is leaking. It appears to me from the first picture ,, the oil residue is from the cam sensor .

thanks for the input H F. So if there is oil inside then should I replace the spark plug tube (I think it is around 35 bucks each - 11127570219), or is there a separate O ring? Could not find any part number in raeloem.

I really doubt that they are leaking because they have two o rings if I remember correctly, I'll dig up some pics and see to connfirm this .. But I guess it's possible the tube itself is cracked..

I'm not sure if they sell an o ring kit separate . I just cleaned mine up and inspected them and used the same ones . So far no leaks .

I'm not sure if this is the same thing that I posted here yesterday https://5series.net/forums/e60-discu...oticed-138931/

Pardon my noob-ness, but is the eccentric shaft sensor different from cam sensor?
