LCM failure

Default LCM failure

Started out with left license plate light then right one. Replaced both now get no license plate lights. Dealer diagnosis faulty Light control module $885. WTF

Pick up a used one from ebay or junk yard. reprogram with Winkfp to add your vin. use ncs expert to add the VO then code with expert profile. If you do go with a used one get a LM 2, if you have adaptive lights make sure it says LM ll ACL, in other words there are two LM2, one for adaptive lights and one for regular. You could also just try to reprogram your LCM and see what happens before you go spending money. All of this is assuming you have access to winkfp, etc.
