ditto

no pdc volume nor folding mirror option on US models
The mirrors on my 08 550 are the motorized folding type. I like this feature a lot.

What does LCI stand for?
Life cycle impulse - basically a mid life update of the model. It came into effect in June 07 (I think).

Thanks. This term isn't used in any BMW literature (or on their website) in the UK. I guessed that it meant the 'new' model, but they are referred to as 'direct injection' and with revised / quicker auto gearboxes, so I wasn't sure.

Not that I'm aware of... (Kinda silly, isn't it?)

Do the LCI's on 19s come with runflats? The non-LCi's on 19 use to come with regular tyres but the other day I saw an E92 335d on 19s and it had runflats?

Hi Guys, I need some help from some of the new LCI owners.

My i-drive had a few problems from day 1 and regularly reported that there was a high rate of battery discharge. A BMW technician unclipped the battery and reset computer. Unfortunately some of the i-drive options have seemed to disappear.

The settings that I have lost include mirrors that fold in where setting alarm (I understand that this can be reset using key programming).

My question is do you guys have an option for setting the volume of the PDC in the i-drive (This was in the options under volumes but has now disappeared) and when you engage reverse does the mirror tilt down as in previous models?

I have brought the matter up to Sytner BMW, who have taken the car in today but they are at a loss to why they have disappeared.
On UK LCI cars, well mine anyway, the PDC volume can be changed.

Select reverse to activate the PDC, then use the volume control for the radio to adjust the volume of the PDC.

I will have to have a look at this when I go out in a while.

My SA is going to book my car in to have the mirrors programmed to fold when the alarm is set. He could not get it done the other day as they had an X5 on the computer.

First, you'd need to have folding mirrors....

To fold windows when you lock your car, hold the lock button down for about 5sec. You will hear the folding motor running...
