Just got back from BMW Kohl in Aachen Germany where I ordered an LCI idrive controller...I enquired about the rear LCI led taillights, (read: buy and install them ! 
) > the service manager gave BMW Munich a call and eventually found out that there will be a retrofit package available from JULY/AUGUST 2007 !!
The guy could only speculate on the price...quote "should be under 500 euros"...
who's getting them ?

If all one gets for $650 for the LCI taillights retrofit is LED turn signals I'm out!
