I know I'm contributing to some serious topic-drift, but if anyone is really a stickler for this kind of thing you should read Bill Bryson's "The Mother Tongue". The six people in the US who have read it so far (myself included) are linguistically better for it.

My Ride: 2007 E60 535d M-Sport Individual. Moonstone with extended Platinum Leather, Professional Nav, Piano Black Trim, HUD plus other stuff like 20" Hartge Classic 2's!
My dealer here in the UK calls it "Life Cycle Initiative"
