Yikes! It definitely isn't cheap. Are there other alternatives to retrofitting a USB link in your car? I've read somewhere on this forum regarding a Denison product that does the same thing.

Mike got an awesome deal on a set of 166 M wheels.
I heard that it is easier getting a hold of him on the phone than it is through e-mail and you must mention E60.NET to receive the discount.

Damn! What solution are you going to go with? The BMW OEM iPod USB interface or the Denison? If you are going to go the OEM route, you may be able save a bit on parts costs by contacting Garry Romani at BMW of Newport. Forum members get a 25% discount.

I'm not sure how much the BMW interface will cost through Garry at Newport, but give him a call. I assume that the price in Canada also includes the install and programming. If that is the case, just getting it done at your local dealer might be the way to go. If you buy from Garry, the duties, taxes and the install might negate any discount you get.

more like take the tint off put on a plate..and we will let you go type of warning ticket
so for now...i removed the tint...
and slap on a front plate
i was wondering about this topic that some forum member noticed
"I'll take a swing at this. I've heard an occasional fan noise unrelated to the climate control from the passenger (right) side also. It also happens after a longer run in the car. There is something called the Control Unit Box, and it has a fan in it that could be kicking in when the brains get hot. I believe the box is behind the dash somewhere, although I haven't tried to find its exact location."
its been happning to my car as well
do you know anything about this problem?
it sounds like HOME HEPA air filter
