I have info in German, but I don't understand German. The new i-Drive hasn't been tested by anyone so... no reviews. However the difference between the CIC (new i-Drive) and the CCC (current i-Drive) are these points:
1) new i-Drive controller

In all honesty, I don't like the current i-Drive system much and the new one apparently has simpler and smoother operation. If the say the N54 twin turbo engine was coming out in Korea, I'd definitely wait.

FWIW, I always turn off the screen of my iDrive. I just hate it and only use it when I'm.... let's see.... I don't think I ever use it actually... The radio stations are all programmed to keys so I don't need it, my AC is all set so don't need it, I don't use it that much actually.....
