If you are a fan of Rain (Bi) and BMW, you might enjoy this. BMW Korea produced this as a promotional video a couple of years ago. I tried to find the original to upload but no luck, so here are a couple of links to You Tube. The clips have Thai sub-titles.

It's like the series starring Clive Owen that BMW USA did.

If I'm not mistaken, Taiwan's BMW gives you a BMW bicycle with each car sold.... Too bad, it's only a recent promotion so I don't get any...

I'd rather have the bike! I heard that BMW bikes are expensive. A few thousand dollars. BMW in Taiwan must have some margins in them. Sort of like Korea! I guy I know used to be the finance director at BMW Korea and he told me that if people knew the margins that foreign car importers pack into cars, that no one would buy them!

I'm using a Mac too... but I'm sitting about 30cm away from the monitor! I guess the term would be, "we'd all be riding BMWs...." I was told that you don't drive a bike~

I've always been a BMW guy with a couple of Audis peppered in because my buddy used to be the director of sales and marketing for Audi AP and then he was the MD of Audi Korea. I would say excellent cars, but not GREAT cars. Except for the S, RS cars... those are awesome rides!

I like Audi interiors. I like how their switch gear feels. They coat it with a rubbery coating/paint that gives the switches, knobs, levers a really nice feel. But! The the rubbery coating/paint has a tendency to peel in really hot weather. I had a 2003 Audi S4 when I lived in Singapore, and the rubbery coating started to come off on everything in 6 months of ownership! The audi HU knobs, the door, and everything else that was coated. I took it back to the dealer and was told it was normal wear and tear, so it won't be covered by the warranty. I got my friend at Audi AP involved (because it was he that nagged me to buy the car when I already had a 330i Coupe) and the dispute was resolved in minutes!

Yeah, their interiors are really nice. I didn't know about the peeling issue though. My Audi A4 didn't have that problem.

For the 2004 model year, they fixed the problem. The coating that they put on the buttons, knobs, levers didn't have the soft rubbery feel anymore, but it solved the peeling problem.
