second, the noise you're describing sounds more like either the throwout bearing or the flywheel.

Like I been sayin....I do all this from my iPhone and haven't been able to find a app to adjust pic size and I've been to lazy to go do it on the computer. If I can't find one by tonite I'll go fix it on my desktop....OOOOKKAAAEEE??....oh by the way thanks for the compliment!..and is this a normal sound for the flywheel or throwout bearing..wonder how much that would cost me(out of waranty).......sig pic fixed!!

I'm also experiencing this sound from my 05 545. Like yours, it's only on light acceleration. If I get on it more, it goes away. Mine is 2nd, and 3rd as well. I can't hear it in 4th, 5th, or 6th gears. I'm a little concerned about this because I'm coming up on 50K miles. I do have an aftermarket warranty, but I'm still a little nervous.

Has anyone corrected this problem? And if so, what was the fix?
