2007 E61 with comfort access.

Keyless entry and proximity start do not work from any range. Once key fob is inserted in dash, the car will start, but the seats auto adjust to a previous memory setting, every time--I've tried deleting the key memory several times, but this has had no effect. This happens for both keys, and both keys have had the internal battery replaced.

Searching here and on Bimmerfest hasn't revealed much other than a bad diversity antenna, though that wouldn't explain the old seat memory setting.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Have you replaced the battery in the remote?

First thing I tried, yup.

Hoping for an easy fix, but nothing electrical with this car has been what I'd cal "easy."

I just re read your initial message......sorry, you did say that you changed the battery....I missed that.
